Description
Christophe Durand moved from Calvados to Cape Town, South Africa in 1995 where he established himself as a supplier of premium French Barriques. After meeting his wife, Sabrina they began a journey together to create and showcase wines with elegance, tradition and expression of terroir. These wines are finely crafted in the French tradition and the release of their first wine, was in 2000. Following the birth of their youngest Daughter, the Cuvee Anais Chardonnay was named after her and launched in 2004.
Whole bunch pressed and aged two thirds in French Oak Barrique and one third in Concrete Eggs, this is a truly expressive wine with aromas and flavours of vibrant tropical fruits with hints of honey, brioche and biscuit. Complex and balanced with a deliciously rich finish.
Perfect with rich Fish Dishes…Lobster Thermidor, Monkfish, Salmon, also Poultry and Rich Soft Cheeses.
