In August 2020 after three and a half wonderful years meeting customers, making friends and sharing our passion for wine with every visitor, we had to make a tricky business change. We closed the shed and took our wine online to share far and wide. Look out for us at selected events and get in touch for bespoke corporate gifting solutions.
The Wine Shed opened in April 2017 after the full refurbishment of our gorgeous shed. Owned by Nuala Wheeldon who left a career as a Compliance Director in Finance to pursue a passion for wine that had never left her since her first roles in restaurants as a student many years ago.
2019 saw the launch of our web site through which we hope more and more people can access, experience and enjoy our rare wines.
Whilst everyone at The Wine Shed is WSET qualified Nuala and the team believe real knowledge and experience comes from selling the wines you love. It’s as simple as that, at The Wine Shed we only sell what is loved, by the wine grower, by the wine maker, by our suppliers, by the team and most importantly by our customers.
Theses much loved wines are from small batch, largely organic or minimum intervention producers, who live and breathe their terroir, they invest lifetimes and generations of hard earned experience into every drop they make and we are thrilled to bring these unique and special wines to our customers.
