Description
Domaine Boussey has been passed down from father to son for 5 generations. A family farm located in the heart of the Burgundy region which is world famous for its red and white wines. Laurent and Karen Boussey, now operators of the family estate, have owned their own vineyards since 2003. Laurent’s parents, Denis and Claudette, retiring, leave to their son the whole Boussey farm to perpetuate the know-how of the winemakers in the family and pass on this heritage more than 60 years old to expert hands of the work of the vine. The estate now has 15 hectares of vineyards.
Produced from 100% Pinot Noir, this superb wine emits a host of aromas and flavours – ripe blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries and plums are underpinned by spice and leather. It’s robust with vigorous, velvety tannins and a long finish.
This robust wine calls for equally robust dishes – red meats and all types of game are top of the list.
