Description
The Villa Wolf Estate was founded in 1756 by JL Wolf and was a highly successful Winery for over two centuries. Now owned by Ernst Loosen owner of the Dr Loosen Estate, who took ownership in 1996, Villa Wolf produces exceptional Pfalz wines made from traditional Grape varieties.
This Pinot Noir is warm and medium-bodied, with firm acidity. Its dark cherry and red berry fruit is juicy and ripe with a spicy hint on the palate. Twelve months of barrique ageing gives the wine a smoky depth and a nice touch of earthy tannins.
This wine is an ideal match for roast lamb, smoked salmon or even light game dishes.
