Description
The evolution and success of Stella Bella is thanks to the local Pyvis and Waldon families. They recognised the potential and quality of southern Margaret River wines and shared a vision to create a grape growing and wine making team, encapsulating the entire process from vineyard to bottle. The small team who bring these wines to life is led by Chief Winemaker Luke Jolliffe and Viticulturist Steve Martin.
Stella Bella’s five distinctive vineyards are located throughout southern Margaret River, an area which has a cool climate and ability to produce elegant, aromatic and medium bodied wines with personality and precision. The vineyards are cultivated in such a way as to maintain and enhance the intrinsic biodiversity.
The Stella Bella brand was created in 1999 and to mark the occasion a label was designed to capture the beautiful colours, aromas and flavours of the wine.
This wine has aromas of plums, cherries, cranberries, raspberries and red currants, underpinned by milk chocolate, cinnamon and subtle star anise. Similar flavours fill the palate with extra nuances of forest floor. This is a luscious wine with a perfect balance of fine-grained tannin, sweet fruit and subtle oak.
Enjoy this wine with lamb and other red meats.
