Description
At Cramele Recas, Englishman Philip Cox and his wife Elvira have replanted 700 hectares of decrepit vineyards, replacing them with immaculately tended sites that equal anywhere else in the world. Recruiting of seasoned new world winemakers, in their brand new winery has enabled them to produce top quality reds and white wines. Romania has a history of winemaking stretching back millennia and it was this potential that has driven this dynamic duo to dedicate their lives to driving forward Romanian winemaking.
Poduced from 100% Pinot Noir, 45% spends just 30 days on oak which gives a little complexity and structure but does not mask the delicious Pinot Noir fruit. This lovely yet economical Pinot Noir has bags of red berry fruit aromas with soft smooth and spicy flavours throughout with a generous soft elegant finish.
Can be served cool with fish or at room temperature with game or spicy foods.
