Description
The Heinrich Vinyards converted to Biodynamic viticulture in 2006. This was a final step towards preventative cultivation based on using natural methods. The vines become increasingly resilient (and also older) and deliver healthy grapes even in difficult years. Sustainable biodynamic cultivation allows for more expression of vineyard and soil in the wines produced.
The Blaufrankisch grape is a variety of excellence! Refreshing red-berried fruit meets piquant herbal spice and invigorating pepperiness. It compact body swings in harmony with fine-grained, soft tannins and a delicate acidity. Fermented in wooden vats and steel tanks, then matured for 18 months in oak barrels, this wine has character and elegance and a joy to drink
Good with Rich Meats, particularly Game and Duck. Exceptional with Goulash.
