This delightful wine made from hand-picked Savagnin grapes has aromas and flavours of citrus fruits, especially lime, mingling with tropical fruits with a hint of blossom and minerality underpinned by nuances of walnuts and green almonds.

Description
Chantal and Jean Berthet-Bondet moved to Château-Chalon in 1984. The estate has an area of 15 hectares of vines, including 4.5 in the Château-Chalon appellation and 10.5 in the Côtes du Jura appellation. The majority of the vines were planted in the 80s and some young vines were born in the 90s and 2000s. The first harvest took place in 1985 and in 2010, the farm converted to Organic farming. In 2013 their eldest daughter Helene returned to the Jura and finally took over the estate.
The Savagnin grapes are hand harvested late, fermented and aged in stainless steel for 12 months. Light golden in colour with hints of green, this is an unusual wine with aromas of green fruits on the nose with a lovely creaminess on the palate with nutty flavours. Complex and unique to the finish!
A perfect accompaniment to Seafood, Shellfish and White Meat Dishes.
