Description
The Ampelidae Vineyard in France’s Loire is a 100 hectare certified Organic site. Winemaker Frederic Brochet planted his first vineyard at the age of 9 and made his first wine at 14! With a doctorate in Oenology from Bordeaux, Brochet teaches at the International University of Gastronomy dedicating the rest of his time to the perfection of his “Brochet” wine range. His dedication to the land is clear, from his organic approach in his viticulture and winemaking.
This wine is further testament to Frederic’s dedication to purity, with no artificial enzymes or yeasts, and no added sulphites, this immensely enjoyable Pinot Noir has wonderful aromas of rich red fruits with a hint of smoke leading to an abundance of smooth black fruit concentration on the palette with a well rounded enjoyable finish.
Enjoyable with Rich Chicken Casserole, Roast Lamb or Pork.
