Two brothers, Paul and Pierre Bunan, relocated to Bandol in Provence near the Mediterranean coast after Algerian independence in 1961 and bought the vineyard of Moulin de Costes. They soon carved out a reputation for producing characterful wines with a strong sense of terroir.
