Mosney Mill

Mosney Mill as a business was launched in October 2016 by Emma with the continuous love and support of her family, her father and husband who are fellow directors of the business. Inspired by the abundance of nature and wildlife that lies at the heart of Mosney Mill, the hand illustrated interiors and homewares brand was launched started by Emma in October 2016.

Emma picked up her pencils and began to draw animals from the gorgeous scenery she was immersed in. A range of whimsical animals began to emerge, each with a story and a special place on the family’s 11 acres of Lancashire countryside.

Sitting at a desk in her studio, which overlooks the land at Mosney, she can watch deer, dozens of varieties of birds, butterflies, the odd bunny and a variety of other wildlife. She has coined names for some of them and brought them to life through her illustrations printed onto different ranges of fabrics, wall coverings, bone china, stationery and kitchenware.

“My business is built around a love of my home. “Home at heart” is the sense of belonging I got instantly when I first arrived on Mosney and where I gain all my creative inspiration. Mosney Printworks was the birthplace of modern textile printing, and as an artist, it is my dream to revive this rich heritage.” – Emma Sutton

Jewellery outlet set in the beautiful Stydd Gardens. ‘Jewellery as quirky and unique as our surroundings.’

We seek out ethically made, unique pieces from a range of bespoke designers generally not found on the high street. Our pieces largely reflect the nature of our surroundings and are created from a wide range of semi-precious metals and stones.

Our beautiful little shed boutique, has been lovingly refurbished and is the perfect setting for our beautiful pieces. Lovely surroundings for the perfect gift, an outfit finisher or just a treat piece you can’t resist.

Always Cake

Always cake is an idyllic coffee shop serving tea, coffee and light bites.

The beautiful shop occupies one of the best spots on the gardens overlooking the dove cote and fountain.

Deborah and her wonderful team have created something really special, the service is great and always with a smile. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked.

The daily bakes and afternoon cream tea are an absolute must and the freshly roasted coffee is loved by visitors from all over the Ribble Valley and beyond.

The Hangar

A fresh and vibrant boutique clothes shop.

Stocked with unbelievably priced designer clothing from familiar labels and up and coming designers.

The high street offers fast fashion, trends and fads that are instantly made available and affordable at the expense of sustainability, quality and a craftsmanship. Whereas high end brands offer luxury and longevity, for those timeless pieces in your wardrobe.

We feel the modern woman should not have to compromise on quality for cost.

From this concept the hangar want to encourage our consumers to shop differently.

Clothes do not go out of fashion we simply team them with different pieces to inspire a particular look or era.

We source garments from post seasons and samples from brands globally, to bring you outlet prices.”

The Café at Stydd

The Cafe at Stydd is set in an enchanting Mediterranean glass covered greenhouse. The Café offers a range of delicious breakfast and lunch dishes cooked from mainly from locally sourced ingredients by experienced skilled chefs.

The Café’s outdoor tables line the garden and offer an unsurpassable alfresco dining experience.
